Corey co-founded Smartpresence in 2012 and is our Director of Products and Services.
Having moved to Mount Maunganui from Wellington 10 years ago, he fully utilises all the benefits video communication technology can offer and interacts face-to-face with his colleagues and clients around New Zealand on a daily basis.

John (known as JK) co-founded Smartpresence in 2012 and is our Director of Sales.
He’s been promoting the benefits of video conferencing and unified communications technology for the past 20 years and knows everything there is to know about the leading products and brands we supply.
JK is based in Wellington and has been instrumental in deploying solutions for large government departments including Statistics NZ, ACC, Ministry of Health, Commerce Commission, the NZ Fire Service, Financial Markets Authority, Environmental Protection Authority, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry for the Environment, ESR, TPK, regional councils and DHBs.Read more »
Johan is our Unified Communications (UC) Solutions Specialist and is responsible for designing, installing, configuring and maintaining video conferencing infrastructure including room-based and mobile solutions.
He enjoys analysing our clients’ business needs and delivering a customised solution that works well for them. Johan has many years of IT and video conferencing experience and joined our Smartpresence team in May 2012.
He lives on the North Shore in Auckland with his wife and daughter, and enjoys flying model airplanes as a hobby.
Anne is our Project Manager and Training Coordinator who excels at listening to our individual customer’s needs.
She has a background in education and therapeutic psychology which helps her understand people and their requirements in a unique way, allowing her to implement the best solutions for them.
Anne knows that no two organisations are ever the same and their overall culture is important when managing a project. She enjoys the excitement and challenge of creating training packages that suit each Smartpresence client and developing personal relationships through exceptional customer service.
Anne immigrated to New Zealand from Minneapolis in Minnesota, USA, with her husband and three children in 2005. She joined Smartpresence in April 2015 and currently lives on the Kapiti Coast where she enjoys running or walking along the beach as often as she can. She is also an avid artist and loves being involved in her children’s school activities.
Jane is our Financial Controller and joined Smartpresence in September 2012. As well as managing our finances, she’s also our in-house software specialist for cloud-based accounting and inventory systems.
Jane recently qualified as a Xero Advisor and has a strong background in systems accounting. She has predominately worked within technical environments throughout her career.
She particularly enjoys the team culture at Smartpresence and lives in beautiful Titirangi - a suburb with a strong community feel that’s a great place to bring up kids. She and her husband both enjoy golf and white water rafting when they are feeling more adventurous!
Nikhil is our Unified Communications (UC) Solutions Specialist and joined Smartpresence in 2013.
Nikhil enjoys providing end-to-end solutions for our customers and is responsible for video infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance and support, as well as installation of room-based and mobile video systems.
A member of Smartpresence’s Wellington-based team, Nikhil is currently engaged to be married and enjoys weight training and playing badminton.
Peter is our Business Development Manager and works closely with Smartpresence customers to find the best solution for them.
He likes to focus not only on our customers’ functional requirements, but also the end-user experience – as most of our technology is very hands-on and needs to be easy to operate.
Peter is passionate about the leading-edge technology we supply and how it can transform the way our customers do business by improving their communication, collaboration and productivity. He’s always excited to see customers take business processes that have been in place for decades and revolutionise them using Smartpresence’s expertise and technology.
Peter grew up in Wellington and gained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in accounting and information systems from Victoria University. He joined Smartpresence in August 2014 and is a gadget enthusiast who also enjoys watching local football.
Philip joined Smartpresence as our AV Integration Specialist in 2016. Philip provides AV consultancy and design, installation services, on-site support, and project management for our clients.
