With the release of the 10th Version of Pexip Infinity, the platform see another wave of new usability and administration features.

We do this in order to further simplify and streamline users’ work processes and abilities to collaborate.
Infinity 10 introduces both subtle and more visible user experience enhancements.

Adding Pexip StudioSound™: Greatly improves audio quality in calls and conferences by adapting a meticulously engineered set of audio filters, compressors and equalizers. Makes audio in meetings easier to understand, and easier to follow.
Infinity Connect enhancements: Extended user interface adds several user interaction capabilities, such as adding status badges and extended caller status information. Also adds DTMF tones from keypad and much more.
Infinity Connect becomes a reachable client: Infinity Connect desktop and Android clients can register with Pexip Infinity’s call control feature and receive one-to-one calls. No need to dial in to a Virtual Meeting Room. Note: Installable clients must be v10. Android client and v10 clients are scheduled for release in Q3.
New audio-only avatars: New audio avatars make audio-only participants appear less intrusive. They make user experiences more intuitive, and, when using policy servers, automatically pull pictures of callers from AD if set up.
Dual-stream to RTMP: Allows viewers to interactively and individually switch between presentation and speaker when watching a live broadcast with speaker and presentation on for instance YouTube.
Automatic VMR provisioning: Administrators can automatically bulk provision Virtual Meeting Rooms for every entry in AD or other LDAP database, and keep everything up to date using automated routines.
Added policy server capabilities: It is possible to reject calls using an external policy server.
Tracking login history: Administrators can now see the 100 latest login attempts to the Pexip Infinity management node.
Windowed diagnostic snapshots: An administrator can create and download a limited timeframe diagnostic snapshot rather than the full history. Custom time frame windows can be set by the administrator.
Improved scalability for WebRTC calls: Video handling for WebRTC calls in distributed handling has been improved.
Join a Lync or Skype meeting from a standard videoconferencing endpoint: Use any SIP/H.323 video endpoint to dial in to a Lync or Skype for Business conference that has a Conference ID set up, and meet on the AVMCU by simply entering the Conference ID when prompted.
Videoconferencing users can simply and quickly join standard Lync/SfB meetings. In organizations where there are mixed environments, users are often divided between which platform they meet on. Some meet using videoconferencing, some meet using Lync or Skype for Business.
Lync and Skype meetings that are scheduled from on-premise installations provide the Conference ID by default upon scheduling. The Conference ID is also made available inside the Lync meeting when it is in progress.
